BIOGRAPHY

From Vinyl Beginnings to an Electrifying Comeback in 2025

I am DJ André Marc F., also known as DJ A.M. (CH), and I have been part of the electronic music world for decades.

It all started when I was just 13, spinning vinyl on my older brother’s traveling disco setup.

With rave classics like "James Brown Is Dead" by L.A. Style in my early playlists, I did found my passion for electronic beats.

As a true raver at heart, my love for the scene only grew stronger.

During my school years, I began hosting radio shows for a local station driving three shows.

By 1997, I started playing my first gigs under the name DJ A.M., and winning over audiences by always trying to provide energetic sets.

Productions and Projects

In 2000, I took things up a notch by stepping into music production. A first release "Ritmo El Molto Forte" was put out on the "Hardware Files" label and marked the start of an exciting journey. A year later, a Trance Remix of the track was then dropped on "Eclipse Tunes" - a sister label  - , followed by "Flip da Raps"  again on "Hardware Files" in 2002. Some of them  earned a spot on major compilations like Tunnel Trance Force 19.

Between 2000 and 2003, I worked on multiple projects, including "A.fter M.idnight & Bace", and "Geilomatic’s". Under the latter ensemble the uplifting hard trance track Geilomat was released in 2003 under "Turning Wheel". Geilomat featured remixes from big names like S.H.O.K.K., Wavetraxx, and DJ Passion, where all of them still can be played today!

Also under my actual pseudonym "André Marc F." there have been releases, as there are "Find your spot", "Jam da Nightclub" and "Fresh Beat" on "I-Maxx Records". These experiences not only honed my skills as a producer but also enriched my life in profound ways.

Clubs, Raves, and Residencies

From 2000 to 2005, I played at some of Switzerland’s biggest clubs and events, including OXA, D-Lite, Arena (resident), SKY, Utopia, BlueBox, Unicum,  Kulturladen and more....

I  was also honored to play at massive events like Goliath, Best of Switzerland, Shiva, Explosion, and Mindscape, to name some of them.

The Break and the Comeback

In 2005, I've made the tough decision to step away from DJing due to personal reasons. I was convinced that my career ended there, but two decades later, the music pulled me back in.

In 2023, I had the wish to relaunch my career  why I have started to host "Short Notice", a live-streamed show on Twitch where I started to mix my remaining vinyls from my golden years of 1997 to 2005. Combined with only an Instagram account and with reposts on YouTube, Soundcloud an Mixcloud, I gained a following, helping to reconnect me with fans and new listeners alike.

The big moment came in January 2025 when the Swiss based party label "ACID TOWN" gave me a stage at Supermarket Zurich. This gig marked my official return to the club scene after 20 years, performing now as André Marc F. (aka DJ A.M. (CH)) by playing Vinyls on Technics MKs and Pioneer CDJ-Decks.

With the support of my relaunched - loyal, and ever-growing fanbase, my only and legal "A.M.Fetamines," I am back where I belong — behind the decks, creating unforgettable moments with you.

20 years of silence is enough. Let’s rave again.
